Jolidon attends a new edition of SIL Paris
The Group Jolidon has attended a new edition of the Salon International de la Lingerie in Paris, – the highest reference event in the industry of lingerie, globally – organized between the 21st and 23rd of January, presenting the newest collections for its two main brands – Jolidon and Prelude – proposed for the Fall / Winter 2017-2018 season.
The salon hosted over 450 brands and visitors from all over the world, noting an increase of 7% compared to last edition, the top 10 visiting countries being France, Italy, Germany, UK, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, USA, as well as from countries less present at the event in previous years, like Japan and Russia. The Group Jolidon hosted a large number of visitors, counting more than 200 clients and collaborators of the total +2000 visitors at the event.
The Fall / Winter 2017-2018 season, as it was described by the inspiration of the participating brands, as well as by the trends & style analysts of the industry, comes closer and closer to the idea of lightness, freedom, of timeless elegant, through the art of the details and the creation of memorable lingerie pieces. These ideas were presented into four main themes – «Being Zen» (pureness reigns), «Being Decorative» (an arty feeling), «Being Nostalgic» (savoir-faire above all), and «Being Scandalous» (an ode to pleasure).
The Jolidon & Prelude lingerie collections for this upcoming Fall / Winter 2017-2018 season have an interesting mix of styles, from utter romanticism to daring attitude, transcending towards fairytale-like creations.
Jolidon, with its two sub-brands – Jolidon Fashion and Jolidon Clandestine -, invites the eye to a celebration of the woman, in all her complexity, showing two of her most defining sides – the romantic lady (with Jolidon Fashion) and the femme fatale (Jolidon Clandestine).
On the other hand, the brand Prelude converts to a more ethereal self, where imagination takes place, proposing a luxury lingerie collection, made with high-class fabrics & decorative elements (like silk, Dentelle de Calais, Swarovski Crystals).
During the three days of SIL Paris, we have presented these collections in the Jolidon stand and a series of lingerie pieces, selected by the organizers for the salon’s fashion shows – five outfits – and for Trend Forum* – two outfits, thus honoring the design & craftsmanship of our creations.
*Trend Forum is a space where the most innovative lingerie pieces, that best represent the upcoming Fall / Winter 2017-2018 season.
One important mention is that Jos Berry, the CEO and founder of Concept Paris – also known as “the lingerie guru” -, visited us at our stand and met our design team, discussing trends and collections.

As a novelty, this SIL Paris edition welcomed our new men underwear collection, where we have introduced more models & more colors, with an eye focused on the younger consumer sector.
Moreover, the Lady Collection from Jolidon Essentials (the basic lingerie brand of Jolidon) has showcased some new products, that are also focused on a younger consumer.

A special appearance at the event was of “La Principessa” by Prelude (as seen below), the unique piece specially designed for Victoria Swarovski, which was showcased at “The Selection” – one of the salon’s fashion shows – as well as in our booth.
